FOLKLOREADA 2025

The 6th annual Folkloreada was held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the School of Arts and Culture. The event creates space for folklórico dance groups to showcase their unique choreography and dance suites. In 2025, Folkloreada featured 15 folklórico dance companies from the Bay Area to Southern California, each bringing a unique set of suites that guided audiences through diverse regional traditions.

As part of a multi-year collaboration spanning 2024 through 2026, this case study highlights our work on the 2025 event.

FOLKLOREADA 2025

Strategy, Branding, Social, Print, Merchandise

Folkloreada is more than a performance—it’s a celebration of cultural identity, tradition, and community. For the 2025 event, the challenge was to create branding that could live up to that energy. With multiple folklórico groups representing different regions and styles, the visual direction needed to be vibrant yet respectful. While capturing the spirit of the event while thoughtfully reflecting the cultural significance behind it.

We developed a cohesive visual system that translated across social, print, and merchandise, ensuring a consistent and engaging experience. By grounding the design in cultural awareness and vibrant storytelling, we were able to elevate the event’s presence while preserving its authenticity and community-driven energy.
