It's been an honor and a privilege to support the many voices of the Eastside in telling our collective stories. In the upcoming issue, we focus on Esperanza. In continuing to support families, neighbors, and friends through challenges, grief, and loss, we've seen so much hope shine through each of your stories.
As we approach a full year navigating the challenges of the pandemic, we find ourselves continuing to rise up, reminding each other there is always hope on the horizon.
Eastside Magazine was created to capture the heart of East San José by highlighting the community’s deeply rooted history, cultural vibrancy, ample assets, and considerable resources.
The magazine features the important work of organizations in East San José and stories of commitment and determination that contribute to the community’s growth and strength.
Through this magazine, we aim to emphasize a sense of pride, appreciation, and understanding of East San José as not just an important point of destination, but a home with a rich cultural legacy as the heart of San José.
