There remains something inherently intimate about our celebrations, even when they are large gatherings, whether it be with family or in community. ESSJ is such an intimate pocket of space, almost like the simultaneous black sheep and backbone of Silicon Valley.

It is also the stories held and activated within those celebrations -the ones that remind us that we are not lost in the larger mitote.
