We kicked off the year with an open call, inviting poets, storytellers, and artists to bring what matters most to them. And as always, you showed up.

Most of our operating budget—smaller than what most mainstream magazines spend on a single issue—comes from the generous contributions of people who believe in our mission. The money we raise goes directly into improving the magazine and elevating the stories of our Eastside community.
