What can three items tell you about a person?
People.Culture.Community series set at EMLN Headquaters
What can three items tell you about a person? Maybe more than you might expect. he things we keep often carry stories with them—memories, relationships, traditions, places, and experiences that help shape who we are.
People.Culture.Community. is a new Kooltura Series exploring the people, stories, traditions, and communities shaping our cities. Each story begins with one person and three meaningful items.
YOU.
An item that represents who you are.
CULTURE.
An item connected to your culture, traditions, or experiences.
COMMUNITY.
An item representing the people, places, or communities that matter to you.
These aren't just items. They're conversation starters—ways to uncover stories, memories, relationships, and experiences that might not emerge from a traditional interview.
At the heart of the series is a simple belief: people should be able to tell their own stories. Rather than defining someone's culture or community for them, we want to create space for people to share what those things mean in their own lives, in their own words. Over the coming months, we'll introduce you to people from across our communities and explore the stories behind the three items they chose to bring with them.
Our first story is coming soon. Watch the Series on YouTube
