Día de San Juan (WEPA Fest) brings the spirit of Puerto Rican culture to downtown San José with a FREE vibrant, family-friendly festival. Attendees danced to live Salsa performances, explored art activities, and enjoyed Caribbean food and vendors in a lively community celebration.
The Ask
MACLA and San José Jazz partnered produce a free, one-night cultural festival celebrating Puerto Rican culture in downtown San José. The campaign needed to build awareness and excitement, reach families and music lovers across the community, and drive attendance while authentically representing the energy and cultural significance of Día de San Juan.

Kooltura focused on creating a visually engaging and culturally resonant campaign. We designed graphics, messaging, and content that reflected the energy of Salsa and Puerto Rican heritage, ensuring the community could experience the vibrancy of the festival even before attending.
